New swimmers always welcome

SQUID was founded in 1992 as Colorado Whitewater Aquatics by a group of athletes preparing for Gay Games '94, more than 80 members now participate in swimming, and open water/triathletes swimming.  Recent accomplishments include 5th place at the 2009 COMSA SCY Championships, a 33% increase in regular attendance at practices, a 100% increase in the number of coached practices using two swimming facilities and First Place at the Inagural Rocky Mountain Autumn Gold Rush Invitational 2009!

Our members include top-notch competitive athletes, fitness swimmers, and some members who just like to join in our social activities. We welcome anyone, regardless of sexual orientation, to our workouts. Whatever the reasons for joining, you'll find that we have great workouts, fun social events, and exciting competitions.  We participate in local meets with other masters teams in Colorado, and national and international competitions with other lesbian/gay swim teams.
